Few Words
Perseus Racing is the Formula Student team of the University of Western Macedonia, with a primary mission to design and manufacture single seater race cars. Driven by a shared passion for engineering, innovation, and collaboration, our students aim to compete and stand out in international Formula Student competitions.
Our team was founded in 2014 and since then it has built three internal combustion and two electric race cars, representing the University of Western Macedonia in international Formula Student competitions in Croatia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic.
2025 marked a historic year for Perseus Racing, as the team won the first four awards in its history. Specifically, it achieved 3rd place in the Business Plan event at the Formula Student Croatia competition, while at Formula Student Greece it secured 1st place in Cost & Manufacturing, as well as 3rd place in both the Business Plan and Skidpad events, confirming the team’s growth and strong competitive potential.
