Did you know?

According to Greek mythology, Perseus was the son of Zeus and became over time the greatest Greek hero and slayer of monsters. The legend says that since he was so brave fighting when he died, the gods did not send him to ‘Hades’ but to the stars. His name comes from the ancient Greek verb “pérthein”, which means “to achieve something unachievable”. Perseus Racing has been deeply inspired by that, and despite the obstacles is going to conquer the track.

Our 2023 goals

In 2022, our team set up the goal of designing and manufacturing its first electric FS racecar.

In the summer of 2023, our team competed in the Concept Class category of the Formula Student (UK) competition and secured the 12th position overall. It was the team members’ first experience participating in the Formula Student competition, and it provided us with invaluable experience and feedback from the judges concerning our designs.

Our 2024 goals

Perseus Racing aims to have a functional car by the summer of 2024 to compete in the Formula Student competitions. During the design process, the team focused on aspects critical for the functionality and reliability of the racecar, to ensure the completion of the project on time. The team has already purchased crucial components and is now preparing to commence the manufacturing phase in the upcoming November.
